Devil-slaying action has never looked this stylish. With GeForce NOW Powered by CloudGG, you can enjoy Devil May Cry 5 at its best. The RE Engine is known for its high-fidelity visuals and action-packed gameplay, and pairing that with the power of an RTX 3080 gaming rig on an Ultra membership lets you take it from Awesome to Sensational to SMOKIN’ SEXY STYLE!

Devil May Cry 5 has arrived to the cloud. It’s had to climb a long way, straight out of hell, in fact. The first entry into the legendary series in over a decade, Devil May Cry 5 reminded everyone why PS2 action games should’ve never died. But what is Devil May Cry?

Devil May Cry is an action combat title that, in many ways, defined the genre. Taking control of Dante, the infamous half-devil demon hunter, you’re tasked with slaying your way through hordes upon hordes of devils, demons, daemons, fiends and more (Ask a D&D nerd for the difference).

Not only that but you’re tasked with doing it stylishly. Standing there blasting away with two pistols isn’t the most effective, but it also doesn’t look cool, which is the most important thing. Instead, you’ll be using every sword, firearm, style and technique in your arsenal and weaving them all into intricate combos to climb the style rankings from D all the way to SSS. Don’t get hit, though, or your combo will fall back down.

That’s the core of Devil May Cry: stylish, fast-paced combat that pushes your reflexes, game knowledge, and mechanical prowess to the limits. Devil May Cry 5 takes that to another level by including three (four with the special edition) playable characters throughout its story, each with a distinct playstyle.

The mysterious V focuses on his summoned demons. At the same time, young devil hunter Nero relies on his mechanical prosthetic arm, weaving it in with a sword and gun that are remnants from his time within a holy order of knights. Dante, though, Dante brings it all. When you’re playing Dante, you feel like you have every tool you could imagine, from a sword to a chainsaw/motorcycle to transforming into a devil to dual-wielding RPG missile launchers. Dante has it all, and it’s up to you to figure out how to make the most of it.

Nero is well on his way to becoming the new face of Devil May Cry.

You’ll notice I haven’t touched too much on the story. That’s intentional, I assure you. See, I’m a real DMC fanboy, so if you get me started, I’ll never stop. So, let’s stick to the most bare-bones; after all, this is a story you should experience for yourself.

The basics, though, A mysterious figure enters the orphanage Nero helps run and rips off his devil arm (Devil May Cry 4 stuff, don’t worry), and in a bare few days, monsters are running rampant across Redgrave city, and a gigantic tree has begun to rise from the centre of town. It’s up to an aging Dante, the recently crippled Nero, and their mysterious employer, V, to get to the bottom (or rather the top) of this tree and defeat its master. This will be their hardest challenge yet, and that’s saying something.

To learn more about the story of Devil May Cry as a whole, Devil May Cry 5 comes with a short movie explaining the history up to that point. It doesn’t expect everyone to have the encyclopedic knowledge I have. That will give you all the info you need to start enjoying Devil May Cry 5 in all its RTX 3080 powered glory on a GeForce NOW Powered by CloudGG Ultra membership. Believe me, this game shines at the highest settings, so there’s no better way to play.

See you out there, devil hunters.
